Neuer Podcast: «Worship Sofa»
Worship Sofa: “Treasure chest full of inspiration”
The pilot episode of the podcast was released in mid-October. In it, the two podcasters introduce themselves and talk about their motivation for the Worship Sofa. «The Worship Sofa is a treasure trove of inspiration, offering new perspectives and creative impulses for music, theology, and church work,» says Carolin Westhoff.Susanne HagenOne of her heartfelt concerns is “that the church once again becomes more of a space for artists.”
Exciting guests
The first guest on the Worship Sofa is the young artist and theologian Jonnes. He speaks very authentically in the podcast and reflects on the importance of music and art in the church: «Art is not decorative, but essential and, for many people, the first access to God.» Susanne Hagen and Carolin Westhoff will also be in conversation with exciting guests in subsequent episodes. Among them is the musician and music producer Florian Sitzmann, who became known through his work as a keyboardist with the Söhne Mannheims. Also featured is the Protestant theologian and Professor Emeritus of Practical Theology Michael Herbst.
